Dr. Batcheller received his Bachelor of Arts and Medical Degree From the University of Virginia.  After an internship and fellowship in cardiology at Boston University, he completed his general surgery residency at Boston University in 1970.  He joined the Onslow Surgical Clinic in 1972.  He has served the Onslow community as Chief of Staff of Onslow Memorial Hospital, and as a past member of the Onslow County Hospital Authority.

Dr. Batcheller is active in the administrative activities of the practice as President of the Onslow Surgical Clinic.  He maintains an interest in breast surgery.
